Let’s Hear it for the Girls: An Upbra Review

November 29, 2017 upbra_feature

Whenever I see a woman rocking a plunging neckline and boobs that seem to defy gravity with nary a bra-strap in sight, I wonder to myself, “What witchcraft is this?”

Good genes aside, an amazing bra can do wonders for “the girls” (sans witchcraft), but it can be so hard to find something that offers lift, cleavage, AND comfort. And in a strapless option? Don’t even get me started. So when Upbra® approached me to review their line—bras with patented technology promising instant cleavage and lift—I didn’t hesitate.

Upbra® Review

Designed and developed with almost every chest size in mind, these bras are truly a work of art. One of my favorite elements was the seamless look and feel. It’s not all underwire and padding, which made wearing it all day long a cinch; plus, it was sleek and seamless under my clothes. Seriously, the Upbra® bras are, hands-down (boobs-down? boobs-up?) one of the most—if not the most—comfortable bras I’ve ever worn, including the strapless one.

Strapless bras always end up one of two ways: either down around my waist like a belt or a too-tight, useless boob-masher. The Upbra® Miraculous Stay-Up Strapless Bra was comfortable under my strapless dress, and it gave me that witchcraft-worthy lift, and bonus, I wasn’t constantly pulling it up or fidgeting with it the whole night. When it comes to fit, by the way, the bra should be snug in the band and the cups, so you can get the best cleavage and lift possible, and boy, did it ever give me some amazing cleavage. I wore the Perfect T-Shirt Bra with a black v-neck, and I felt comfortable and confident because it was all me, just with a little bit more encouragement.

I will say, there is a learning curve to using these bras, though. The adjustable lift-control straps are a great component, but it did take me some time to figure it out and get it all just right (watch their how-to video, here). That won’t be an issue after your initial wear, but it’s worth mentioning, I think.

Upbra® Details

Comparatively, the price of Upbra® bras—$77, $79, and $84, respectively—are competitive with well-known brands like Natori and major retailers like Victoria’s Secret, but I really appreciate that Upbra® bras are handmade in California, quality material, and basically customizable. Available in white, nude, black, and red, there aren’t too many options, but prints and lace are coming soon.
